What is OpGroen?

OpGroen is an advisor in employee benefits and insurance. OpGroen contributes to realizing the ambitions of its clients. OpGroen is registered with the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) under number 12049825 and is statutorily located in Rotterdam, registered with the Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 91898080. OpGroen is part of BlackFin Capital Partners.

Independent advice

OpGroen is an insurance intermediary, specialized in finding the best insurance for the best price. OpGroen works independently of insurance companies. We base our advice to you on research among a select group of insurance companies which we know, based on our knowledge and experience, can offer a good price and/or coverage. We will gladly provide a list of these insurance companies at your request. One such provider is OpGroen it's agent, OpGroen Assuradeuren B.V. They regularly negotiate with the insurance companies to obtain the best price and terms.

Remuneration

All regular work we do for you is paid from a percentage of the premium you pay for your insurance(s). There's also a remuneration for renewal costs and, depending on the insurance you selected, there may also be policy costs. If Aon provides you with any additional services, we will send you a quotation in advance. Furthermore, Aon may receive income from interest and/or compensation for administration and management on behalf of insurance companies.

Distance contract

If your agreement with OpGroen has come about without any personal contact between you and OpGroen, this is called a ‘distance contract’. You can dissolve this within 14 days without stating your reasons. This does not apply to:

  1. Insurance policies with a duration of less than one month.
  2. Policies for which you have already claimed damages in these first 14 days.
