Damage during your vacation, to your trailer or cancelling your trip

Did you suffer damage during your vacation, damage to your trailer or was your flight cancelled? On this page we will explain the best thing to do, how you can report your claim, what evidence we need from you and how we will settle your claim.

Damaged, stolen or missing baggage

Purchase receipts and photos of the damaged goods will help you prove possession of the items. Is it a case of theft? If so, report it to the police and enclose proof.

What if damage occurs to your baggage during transport?
If it does, immediately request a written statement from the carrier.

Has your baggage not arrived after your flight?
Make sure you immediately get a proof of loss, a PIR form, from the airport baggage counter. What if your baggage is not sent within a short period of time? In this is the case, file a claim to the airline as soon as possible.
Do you have baggage co-insured on your travel insurance policy? If so, you can claim the excess damages from us. In this case, you will also get coverage for the reasonable cost of purchasing necessary clothing and toiletries for the days your baggage has not arrived.

Complete your claim by adding additional information such as photos, purchase receipts or repair bills on the My Claims page of MyZone. Once your file is complete, we will process your claim within three working days.
